Welcome to Lumination’s Immersive Learning – Certified Educators Pathway program! We’re excited to have you here.
This course is a comprehensive certification program designed specifically for educators who wish to become certified immersive learning practitioners. It is the first and only industry-standard professional development program of its kind, offering a range of learning opportunities and resources to help educators develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to effectively implement immersive learning in the classroom. With a growing number of schools and educational institutions embracing immersive learning as a way to engage and inspire students, obtaining a certification in this area can help educators stand out and demonstrate their expertise in this cutting-edge field.

Getting Started
Begin this program by viewing the Introduction unit. Once you’ve completed the Introduction, please complete the Pre-requisites tasks before working on Modules 1 to 3.
Module 1
XR in Education
Learning Objective:
Differentiate different extended reality (XR) or immersive technologies and identify use cases in the classroom.
Number of Units: 2
Approximate Time of Module Completion: 2 hours
Module 2
XR Resources
Learning Objective:
Analyse and evaluate tools and resources that may be used in the classroom.
Number of Units: 3
Approximate Time of Module Completion: 3 hours
Module 3
Immersive Learning in Action
Learning Objective:
Design and run an immersive learning session with students using original and/or curated lesson plans using at least one XR technology.
Number of Units: 2
Approximate Time of Module Completion: 2 hours
Estimated Completion Time: 7 to 8 Hours
Prerequisites: Please make sure to complete the required courses before starting this program. Incomplete submissions will delay the processing of certifications.
