AW3.1 Your Kit Content

Slide 3 – Your XR Media Creation Kit is a portable pelican case that allows users the flexibility to wheel the technology to a desired location, and therefore not bound to the Lumination Learning Lab. The kit has 15 360° cameras, 15 merge cubes, 15 tripods, and 15 cables that are used to charge the cameras or to transfer the captured content onto devices. The Tripods are a handy addition, as they can stabilise not only the cameras, but also the Android devices that you will find in your AR/VR Education Kit.

Slide 4 – The cameras provided are fantastic to capture 360° images and videos. On this slide you can see the camera’s quickstart guide that includes instructions on how to use the cameras, as well as a labelled diagram of its buttons and features. Our next module will delve deeper into these 360° cameras and their usage.

Slide 5 – The merge cubes in the kit allow students to interact with the digital content naturally, for a more memorable and impactful learning. Module 3 in this course will cover the technical information required to use a merge cube. However, as we encourage our students to create their own content, we would recommend educators to complete our CoSpaces 101 Online Course to gain the knowledge required to create their own digital content on these merge cubes.
