Known issue

There is a known issue where sharing videos from LeadMe Edu’s Curated Content that causes the videos to play without sound. LeadMe Edu has now reached end of life and will no longer be updated, so please try the following steps and work arounds:

  • Make sure your device operating system and all apps are up to date
  • Make sure Learner devices have their sound turned up to a suitable level
  • Try selecting ‘Default’ rather than ‘VR Player’ when pushing Curated Content
  • Try pushing a list of Curated Content to Learners, rather than a single video
    • Note: if you’ve already shared an individual video, you will need to close LeadMe Edu and the LeadMe VR Player on all Leader and Learner devices before you try this
    • Not sure how to push a list of Curated Content? Take a look at our Quickstart Guide
  • Try copying the URL for the video and opening it directly in the YouTube app (not sharing it from LeadMe)
